Built on technology that serves isolated seniors for free.
GRACE is built on voice technology created from a family's own experience with dementia — the same technology our nonprofit partner, The kAIndness Project, uses to deliver its companion, Kai, free to isolated older adults under a perpetual charitable license. The two are deliberately different: Kai is a companion; GRACE is a member of your care team with a job to do.
That heritage is your assurance: GRACE was designed for residents' dignity first, and every commercial deployment lives by the same non-negotiable rules as the charity's.
And when a resident wants more than a check-in — someone to simply talk with, every day — GRACE offers, with the resident's consent, a referral to The kAIndness Project. The nonprofit enrolls them in its own free program, Kai becomes their companion, and GRACE will even place the call. Nothing passes between the organizations but the referral itself — at no charge, in either direction.
Residents always know GRACE is an AI
No pretense of personhood, ever. GRACE has a warm name and voice so calls feel friendly — she says she is an AI, and never claims feelings, a body, or a life of her own.
Signals, not transcripts, on your board
Staff and families see wellbeing indicators and escalations — never a browsable record of what a resident said. The call record is encrypted, kept only as long as your contract sets, and then deleted. A resident can choose to pass on a message in her own words; nothing else leaves the call. Conversation content is never sold and never used for advertising.
Memory-kindness by design
GRACE never says "you told me that already." Residents with cognitive decline get the same warm interest, every time.
Part of your team, never a clinician
GRACE listens, passes along what residents need, and escalates to your professionals. She never diagnoses, gives medical advice, or presents herself as a nurse.
